vet vs. kitty

Melody had a vet check on Sat. and did not like it at all! She hissed, growled, bit, and hit people with her paws. Though she is overly humanized it must be only with us. She is NOT a fan of strangers! At any rate the silly thing is doing well and weighed 5#14 ounces! far cry from her beginning of just 4 ounces. As you can tell from the photo she loves any tight spots, this is one of her favorite resting spots.

She is very much an active kitty and loves to give you a wake up call at 4 am! She pounces on most things and knows how to say "please". Her latest trick that I blamed Brie for is the water trick: using one paw she pulls her watering thing and makes it make a bubble, then she pounces both feet into the water, which in turn makes another bubble, thus more pouncing (do you see the trend) hence water all over my floor! and wall as she has to shake each paw like crazy because they certainly cannot be wet for too long! though it is cute to see it is very annoying. Her watering thing has been replaced by a very heavy bowl with minimal water until we get through this phase! gotta love our cat! PJ reminds us daily that we all love Melody!
