Maggie's program

The kindergarten always puts on a very sweet Mother's Day program, one that really melts your heart. This year was Maggie's turn. It once again was such a nice program and unlike years past this year the fathers and grandparents were allowed to attend. My mom and Pete enjoyed it as well. Below is Maggie's super awesome teacher and some classmates.

sweet and silly

One night as Pete was out at work we played photographer and each of the kids were allowed to pick a pose for all the kids. Not sure who was in charge of the above photo but one guess who was in charge in the below photo.?  the silly faces and craziness was compliments of PJ!! imagine that. These four make me smile!

baby T

Baby Tarron belongs to my friend that has the husband with cancer. We helped out this last weekend with watching the baby. His older sisters stayed home and hung out with mom and dad without baby. Our family was thrilled to have a baby to spoil for the weekend, each of the kids took turns loving on the baby. Tarron was a very good sport about them being in his face. He was also a good baby as we took him to soccer, shopping, and church. We may have the chance to spoil this little man again sometime and we look forward to it!

Girl Scout horse party

Makayla's year end party for Girl Scouts was at a horse stable. The girls had a great time!!

By the second horse ride the girls were allowed to lead the horses themselves! A party the girls will not forget anytime soon!

party smurf

So this terrific lady is a co-worker of mine.  She is "wife #3" and is the rock that keeps all things going forward. Margene is just an awesome friend too. She wears many hats and I am lucky she is part of my everyday life! Happy belated Birthday friend!

MAY DAY

May Day prep(the weekend before, when it was like 80 degrees!) for the neighbor kiddos, all but the popcorn, we did that just before heading out.

Seriously it is not suppose to snow when a family is trying to secretly deliver May Day baskets! uggg. We all got back to the garage after running around and the thought crossed my mind, should we have some hot chocolate? it was like 33 degrees! burrrr....
This picture is entertaining, look closely. Makayla told them to shut their eyes while she pulled out the "baskets". Too funny as they all obeyed her command!
Each of the kids were very pleased with their May Day surprises, we almost caught one neighbor but we let him go without kisses because of the ice falling from the sky.
Happy May Day 2013!! we hope each of you had a great day!

Makayla soccer

Makayla got to be team captain at her first soccer game! She was very proud. It is surprising how different the girls play in 6 months.

Makayla got to play her favorite position goalie for the second half. Though it was a bit of a harder position this season compared to last. The girls are acquiring accuracy to get the ball in the goal! looking good Kayla!

Maggie soccer

Maggie has had two games so far but the rest have been canceled due to our wet spring!!
She has to learn how to play with her tongue in her mouth! otherwise we could possibly end up with an injury.

Go team Sizzle you are doing a great job!!

PJ soccer

PJ is playing micro soccer. The girls did not play at such a  young age but it is so entertaining!! The poor little dude has only had one of four games as our weather is always lousy on Wednesdays!
He is learning a few basics and having a lot of fun.
They are co ed teams at this age and he has no problem pushing a girl out of the way to get to the ball! go get  'em PJ!
