Grandpa and Grandma

People often ask, How are your folks? Well pretty darn good! My mom is doing great! She is still as busy as ever. There is nothing she cannot do. She would love to be traveling and driving patients more but for now her calling is staying close to home and helping dad if he needs it. Dad, wow! what can I say! After my July post I would NEVER has expected to obtain this great photo below on Sept. 25th! He is doing very well, still short on air and tires easily but there are days when is only uses a cane(and he says he only carries it around so we do not yell at him) He was in great spirits this past weekend and interacted with the kids a lot. He does sleep quite a bit but when he is awake he is alert and happy and talkative. This time of year is always very interesting to him as the crops are harvested he likes to hear how everyone turned out. I am grateful for each additional visit we are given with each of my parents as time with them and my kids is just priceless!
