home Thanksgiving

 We spent our first Thanksgiving day before, and after at our home. We had the kids help with the meal prep and we used the nice china. It was a very fun and relaxing few days. Also it was on the heels of my returning to work.
The kids enjoyed it as well. The especially liked making the pies.

 Gus really is happy in this picture he is in the middle of babbling here. Plus he is not a huge fan of sitting upright, the whole bending in the middle is not fun for him. Maybe because he is the size of a butterball turkey!

Some of his favorites, some of mine and maybe a new one or two....Gus was great and slept through the meal so we all enjoyed hot food at the same time!

 Some of her looks are priceless and they are hard to catch on camera so when I do I have to post them. She will love me someday for all this personality she likes to show off sometimes.

Maggie is just a goof but has the biggest heart. She made this turkey and made a feather for everyone on my side as we traveled to that Thanksgiving at my sisters on Saturday. She took the time to write every single person's name. It was super sweet and cute.
