Horse Lesson

Maggie got a horse lesson for her birthday. Both girls have a great love of horses. We went the last day of school. The girls had a grand time. Maggie's horse found the only open gate in the arena and decided to take his own path. Once we got him back on track the rest of the time was uneventful. The ladies got to spend an hour with their horse, grooming, riding, and caring for the horse. An hour went way to fast for them.

Kayla got in on the fun as well and completely enjoyed herself!

PJ and Brie tagged along to be a part of the fun as well. The helper was kind enough to let them be a part of the activities as well except riding. :~)
In case you do not know, horses LOVE peppermints, the red and white circle ones? Well they do and this horse was more than HAPPY and he gave us lots of "smiles"! yes folks that horse is smiling. I needed two cameras as the kids were equally full of grins because of the smiling horse, I wish I had a photo of their faces!

Last Day of School

PJ and Brie ended school with a program. I am always trying to come up with thank you gifts. This year the little ones gave each of the teachers and staff daisies and the photo below. I think the picture turned out cute, their faces have such personality.
The big girls had a dress up day the last day of school and dress up they did. They were so excited to wear their "Cinderella" dresses. One more year in the books and we are so proud of each of them for progressing on to the next level.

Childrens Museum

We fulfilled Maggie's desire for the Children's Museum and made her day.
The balls dropping from the ceiling is a hit with all the kids.
The upstairs has been transformed into a Bug's World. A pretty neat display for my bug loving children!

Mothers Day a bit late

We tried a group photo for Mother's day and this is what we got. We had baby T for the weekend and so we wanted him in the photo as well. He is such a good baby and the kids just love him so.
Brie made me a box with glued pasta on top and a heart on the inside. It was very sweet and she was very proud of herself. The others did things as well but the camera was not rolling then.
Kayla insisted on taking a photo with the gifts Pete had gotten me. cheese....

Soccer has ended

Happy to report spring soccer has come to an end. It has been a long and wet season. We managed to get in several games but we were all ready for it to come to an end.
PJ had a blast playing soccer, but he mostly liked to play with the flags and do tumbling tricks.
Maggie is catching on a bit to the game. She has fun and that is what is important.
Makayla's team was added to this year a bit and they really have a good start of becoming a good team. The coach put up some stats comparing last fall to spring and it was impressive to read.
Way to go kids! very proud of each of you for playing so hard and being such great sportsman with your teammates!

Build A Bear

Maggie desperately wanted to the Children's Museum however it was not open. So we headed to Build A Bear with a rule Maggie goes first for everything. Agreed by all and off we went. Build A Bear went as far as singing Happy Birthday to Maggie as well.
This gentleman did a great job with the four kids and making sure Maggie felt special. He had everyone grab a heart for their animal and then everyone but Maggie had to grab an extra heart and they had to do a special dance with the extra heart and then they all put them in Maggie's leopard. I felt that was so nice of all involved.

After buying half the store we were ready for check out.
We had baby Tarron this weekend and he was such a champ, always so sweet. We had him on the go this weekend and he just went with the flow. love this little guy!
I forgot to get a picture of everyone's finished project so after baths I remembered. PJ ended up with a monkey with a Star Wars noise box and a light up light saber. Brie got a bunny with a Hello Kitty outfit and bows.( I convinced her that if she got a bunny then all other things, including her bucket now had to stay in her bed. We are 3 weeks free of stuff. She leaves everything in her bed except bunny and little nite nites.) Another funny Brie story: you have to name your new pet. Brie had picked out a bunny, I asked what she wanted to name it, she said what I thought was Callie. Verified yep got it right. That night when I put her to bed, she hugged her hard plastic cow and then said while squeezing her bunny " I love Cowie". Seriously she named her bunny cow! only Brie! Anywho Kayla got a horse with a cute outfit and Maggie got a leopard, leash/collar and special bed. Happy kids times four!!

Maggie is 7!

While Maggie's birthday was a while back she indeed had a good time. Thankfully for pictures they are still there even a month later.  So here is Maggie's day as a new 7 year old.
Granny and Pop came into town for her birthday and they brought along cousin Beth! What a wonderful surprise, all the kids enjoyed her visit!
Maggie wanted to have a "horse party" so some paper products and a horse cake done beautifully by her father again made her happy!
Surrounded by some fantastic loved ones Maggie had a good day!
Snuggles with Granny and Pop.

Cuddles with grandma, and posing with Uncle Mark and Auntie Carol make a girl feel pretty special.

The girls helped Maggie unveil her gifts in grand style.
Pop got a few girls only snuggles!
Maggie is our Tinkerbell. If there is  a trinket or gadgets or a what not Maggie is all over it. Creativity is her strong area. So we gave her a craft party. The girls did Lego's, we painted rocks, planted seeds, made creatures out of clay like stuff and just tried to follow Maggie's lead for the afternoon.

Sunday was Maggie's actual birthday so we held our gift for that day.  We cashed in on a group on earlier in the year and gave her a certificate for a horse riding lesson for two. She was so excited. I was able to call and get the girls their lesson for that Thursday which was the last day of school. After this gift we did breakfast and then we headed out on a another adventure for Maggie.
