What a day for my little Magdalene Jean! She started with her choice of breakfast at daycare(Lucky Charms, we had to buy the BIG box per her command). This day brings out all the special things for her at daycare. A special placemat, helper for the day, and decision maker. Doesn't the smile say a thousand words, she was so excited that she is finally big! "See how much I grew last night mama?"
She took special plates and napkins to share with all of her friends! We did mini rainbow cupcakes for morning snack, and pink cupcakes for lunch(pink frosting for the girls and blue for the boys all topped with sprinkles because "that is the most important part").Afternoon snack was fruit snacks passed out by Maggie, and juice boxes. All the good nappers also earned a sticker that she got to put on them.
A small group of silly friends. "It is the best birthday party with all my school friends !"
A final Happy Birthday song and cake at home by the family and then off for cards and presents!
A bit of a messy look but an excited face none the less for the birthday finale! Presents are so fun! She had a great time opening and showing off the things she received.
Needless to say she had an EXCELLENT day and is ready for tomorrow to be her birthday again.
This new 4 year old should have very sweet dreams tonight after a full day of sugar!
