Eagle's eye view
The national bird, the bald headed eagle is back in cyber world. There is a web site that is following a pair of eagles. We watched the whole process last year and the eagles made their debut again on valentine's day. My kids LOVE the constant live video feed of the eagles. Currently there is one egg in the nest with more expected. A little closer to home we too have a pair of eagles who have adopted the green bridge on the north side of our city. I have tried to tell our local news but have not had anyone seem interested. So we will keep the secret to ourselves and continue to enjoy them each morning on our drive into daycare, school, work. If anyone is interested send me a note and I will give you more details as to the eagles location.

Brie is two in a TUTU
So we had Brie's two year old photo session today and it went very well! It is unfortunate when a session goes to well because that can lead to spending a lot of money. I tried to stay strong and stuck to my one pose selection and then I did purchase the low res CD. I could not get all these fun pictures. It was not until I got home and was showing the pictures to Pete that I realized this is her two year old pictures and her shirt say "Tutu", funny little coincidence that worked out very well! Gosh, cannot believe my baby is 2!!

Valentine's boxes
This is the first year we had to do Valentine's boxes for the girls. Kayla's bedazzled box was tastefully done. Maggie had a cute box going and then she too had to add her touch and well, it became a creation by Maggie! PJ decorated his bag in his classroom and was very proud of his sticker placement. Brie did not decorate anything but insisted on getting her photo taken as well, who could resist her cute face. All valentines parties were a hit with each of them and they were all very proud of their Valentines that they handed out.
pajama day
Pete was out of town this past weekend for a conference so we were on our own. It was also only supposed to be like 2 degrees so we declared pajama day! I often say we are going to do this but typically do not follow through, however this day I insisted pj's all day! Brie was a bit confused and PJ kept asking to get dressed but the big girls loved it. There is just something comfy about jammies! we did not discuss any school work or chores or anything negative that day and the kids were very well behaved the whole day!
